Family Day Festival will be happening this afternoon up the Tournament Capital Centre in Kamloops.
Tournament Capital Events Coordinator, Audrey Trim says, this is the 6th annual festival.
“And we have 40 plus community booths coming. All of them have an interactive or educational and engaging component for the kids, and we have lots of different sport activities they can try, and food vendors, and we’ve got the street circus, which is buskers, coming down for a performance at 10:30. As well as a bunch of other live stage performances.”
Trim says, it’s a great opportunity for the city to provide activities for families.
The event is free for all ages, and will be held from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
