A combination of improvements to the Lansdowne parkade, and the street around the concrete box.
City Council approving 1.4 million dollars for upgrades, and that means public art to improve the appearance of the concrete structure.
Councillor Pat Wallace says, the south side of Lansdowne street between Third Avenue and Fourth Avenue will be improved, meaning curb extensions, street lighting, and sidewalk enhancements.
“I think this is great. I think its very exciting and that whole area needs some life in it.”
The cost of the public art pegged at 166 thousand dollars, with the work to be completed by August of this year.
