Search efforts are picking up again as the weather warms up, for a young Kamloops man who went missing this winter.
KSAR Search Manager, Alan Hobler says, Ryan Shtuka’s family has been diligently searching, along with volunteers throughout the winter.
“You know, unfortunately, the conditions have been very poor for searching. Now that the snow is melting, conditions are getting better. So, KSAR went out yesterday with RCMP. I think we had about 17 of our own members out, plus several RCMP members.”
Hobler adds, they’re planning on heading out again in the coming weekends.
20 year old Ryan Shtuka went missing February 17th after leaving a house party in Sun Peaks.
