The B.C Wildfire Service is welcoming the cooler weather in the Kamloops Fire Centre.
Provincial Information Officer, Ryan Turcott says, the province saw rain in several parts of B.C in the last several days.
“Forecasts this week are calling for more of the same and that didn’t have a bit of a positive effect on the fire danger across the province. Depending on where you are the rating does range from a low to moderate ratings. Where as if you were to look back at a week ago it was ranging from moderate to high.”
Turcott says, as you go further north the danger rating is even lower.
