A big step forward for an addition to the Rose Hill subdivision in Kamloops.
A plan for 58 lots just above the current subdivision will now go to public hearing.
Development Director Marvin Kwiatkowski,
“The area that would be granted this application to the city, terrain is very difficult, its very hilly, and its very rocky as well. So they’re looking at developing the area to the south, which is easier to accommodate development. The key would be the lots would be smaller than what the current zoning allows, approximately half the size.”
The property is located within the agricultural land reserve, with the land commission expected to make a decision on removal later this month.
