Kamloops North Thompson MLA Peter Milobar is aiming his verbal guns at Health Minister Adrian Dix.
At issue, comments from the Health Minister while in Kamloops suggesting improvements should have been made at Royal Inland Hospital 15 years ago.
Milobar says, just look at the facts.
“I find it astounding that the minister was trying to allude to the fact he felt the hospital should have been built 15 years ago given he was part of an NDP government that actually cut half the beds available at the hospital which created some of the worst bed shortages in the first place. Between the cancer clinic and cutting of beds I don’t think the NDP has a whole lot of credibility in Kamloops at this point.”
The B.C government is expected to announce by August the proponent who will be responsible for the 400 million dollar second phase expansion.
