--- Kamloops Blazers announce the recall of 16 year old defenceman Max Mowatt for the rest of the season after the elimination of his Okanagan Rockets from the BC Major Midget League playoffs. And,
15 year old Aspen Sterzer from Calgary has signed a WHL contract with the team
--- The Jardine Blazers split two games at the Provincial Tier 1 Pee--Wee championship in Duncan Monday, losing to Semiahmoo 4-2, but rebounding to beat Cowichan 8-1. They face the tournament favourite, Burnaby Winter Club today.
--- KIBIHT secures 17 teams, and is still looking to fill three spots for its March 31st--April 4th event but plans to have a female bantam division have been scrapped for a third straight year.
--- The Vancouver Canucks are in Colorado tonite to take on the Avs in the second last game of their string of 14 straight road games (5:30pm Pre-Game NL)
--- NHL last night: Jonathon Quick had to make only 11 saves as the L-A Kings shutout the Columbus Blue Jackets 6-zip. Veteran goalie Marty Turco had a 49-save performance for the Dallas Stars, who snapped Washington's 13-game home ice winning streak with a 4-3 overtime shootout victory.
