Peter has made his home in Kamloops since 1981, and has been entertaining and informing NL's morning show audience for 30 years now.  Peter is married to Brenda, and they are the proud parents of daughter Alicia and son Erik. While much has changed in Radio in 30 years, his love for the business and his listeners has not.  Peter's other endeavours include freelance photography - and if youd' like to take a look at some of his work, go to www.olsenphotography.ca 



Hi, Peter Olsen here.  If you're wondering what happened to me on the Morning Show, I'll fill you in.
I'm having to take a few weeks off because like so many guys my age, my prostate decided to give me some grief.
Ironically, I've been a pain "down there" to many listeners for over 30 years.
Heck, before this all happened, I didn't even know what a prostate did.  I thought it was like an appendix; a freeloading organ that takes up space and goes along for the ride.
I'm having to undergo some treatment for prostate cancer, but plan to be back on the air by March.
