In a campaign that has stumbled across the finish line BC Liberals will learn who has won the party leadership tonight.
Todd Stone sounds confident he has a shot at winning the leadership noting his campaign team has been crunching the numbers.
“We have a very good sense at what a significant chunk of those registered voters are actually going to do. We’re getting regular updates, as all the campaigns are, through the day to day. We know who has voted in what riding, we apply our analytics to that. This race is going to come down to a Todd Stone- Dianne Watts final. Whether that’s on a third ballot, or a fourth ballot, we’ll see.”
Stone admits they have Dianne Watts winning the first ballot and the strategy is to stay as close as possible and then pick up the win among the second, third and fourth ballots.
That said the Stone campaign faltered down the stretch having to come clean yesterday 1,349 memberships were tossed by the part for not meeting the rules.
Shane Woodford is in Vancouver to cover the results of the leadership race and we will hear from him on NL as soon as a winner is announced.
