The countdown is on.
Kamloops Farmers Market gets back up and running for the season this coming weekend.
Special Projects Coordinator, Calli Duncan, says this year is the 40th anniversary season
“For this season, we kick off on April 21st, and shoppers can expect a similar number of vendors as last year.”
Duncan says there are 4 categories of vendors, farmers, prepared food, artisans, and home based businesses.
“Especially considering how long winter stuck around this year, we tend to start a little bit quiet, especially regarding farmers, and then grow from there.”
The market will run every Saturday, from 8:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m, along St. Paul Street between 2nd and 3rd avenue, from April 21st until October 27th.
