A snowfall warning for the Coquihalla highway has been issued from Kamloops all the way to Hope.
Environment Canada forecaster Cindy Yu says the bulk of the snow is expected withint the next 12 to 24 hours.
“From today through tonight we are looking at anywhere from 5 to 15 centimetres of snow along the Coquihalla upwards of course of 15 centimetres for the Coq summit. Tomorrow another five centimetres during the morning hours. There may be a little of a break between the overnight period to tomrrow morning in terms of snowfall amounts.”
The Okanagan connector will be impacted as well.
