Its another strong start to the 2018 B.C tourism season.
The bean counters at B.C stats reports, overall accommodation revenues rose during the month of February.
The president of the Tourism Industry Association of B.C, Walt Judas says, the Rockies jumped 12.5%, Vancouver 9%, and Thompson/Okanagan 6.5%.
“The numbers look good they are healthy. when you see room revenues up that’s always a good sign. That typically will correspond with more visitation, but we have yet to see the numbers from late winter and early spring but the signs are positive.”
Northern B.C. saw a 1.2 % decrease.
