Upcoming Kamloops Pride Parade hoping to meet the demand for entertainment
Kamloops Pride President, Kirstin McLaughlin says, they’re putting out the call for performers during the 2nd annual downtown Parade
“Music is one of the more obvious ones, but if individuals wanted to come forward with some different ideas around spoken word art, or comedians, we’re open to whatever the community brings forward.”
McLaughlin says, last year had over 1000 marching and over 1000 spectators, so they’re expecting this year’s to be even bigger, which could mean more exposure for performers who come out.
This year’s parade, set for August 26th.
