Hollywood producers are scouring the Thompson Nicola Regional District for locations for new films.
Spences Bridge Director, Steven Rice, who chairs the Film Commission, says there is renewed interest in the area.
However, Rice would not be more specific.
“We are being scouted for two U.S feature films. One is a big one. Sort of excited about that, and hopefully they will find what they are looking for. They are looking for a big industrial abandoned site is what they are looking for. Lafarge has been mentioned.”
Rice says, government tax credits offer more enticement for productions to go North.
