Another day, another health care announcement in B.C.
Health Minister Adrian Dix says, there will be increased supports for those caring for their loved ones.
“We are announcing that the province is dedicating 75 million dollars to help reduce the stress experience by family and friend caregivers of seniors. Through this funding over the next three years the province will improve and strengthen respite services and adult day programs to improve the quality of life for seniors themselves. The number of respite beds will also be increased.”
Dix says there are one million caregivers in B.C. who will enjoy the extra supports.
