Kamloops is working on a plan to bring additional industrial land into the city’s inventory, but faces future challenges.
There are more than 200 acres of land off the West Trans Canada Highway in Kamloops known as the Iron Mask property.
Chief Administrative Officer David Trawin says, one of the big issues to resolve is access, possibly involving construction of an overpass on the TCH with previously mentioned price tag of 20 million dollars.
“I think if the property is spread to the north side of the highway, you know, would it be an interchange, or would it be some sort of thing don’t know?”
Trawin says, there will be a report on the topic by the fall.
