Downtown Kamloops has been the place to be this weekend, with the debut of the International Buskers Festival
Arts, Culture & Heritage Coordinator for the City, Cara Gates says they’ve so far had a widespread of visitors check out the festival
“Yesterday I talked to a number of people from Missouri that came in, there was a couple of people from the U.K that I was chatting with. And just in regards to the local Kamloops area people, even people from Clearwater are coming in to town, people from Barriere, we had a couple people from Williams Lake.”
Gates says Saturday nights performance had well over 400 people come by to watch.
Today’s first show gets underway at noon, with the final show starting at 5 pm.
