While yesterday we smashed a 120 year old heat record in Kamloops, some relief is on the way…
Environment Canada Forecaster Doug Lundquist says tomorrow we’ll start to see some lower temperatures
“Saturday, only 28 with some showers around. Sunday, looking like rain and a high of 23, so I’m really hoping that cold front maintains its integrity and we do see some steadier precipitation on the weekend.”
He adds, its tricky to say for sure whether or not the smoke will be blown away, given all the fires still burning, but it is looking like the air will clear up somewhat.
