There is nothing stopping the booming Kamloops home construction market.
Canada Mortgage and Housing reports during the first seven months of this year show there was a total of 576 units built, up from 211 in 2017.
Analyst Taylor Pardy says July was also a strong month.
“Looking at the Kamloops numbers for July 2018 housing starts are actually are up actually quite significantly, with 209 housing starts in July 2018, relative to just 25 in July last year.”
Pardy says one of the big factors in Kamloops is net immigration from other places in B.C.
