Not one, but two holes in one at this year’s Gur Singh Memorial Golf Tourney.
Executive Director of the Kamloops Brain Injury Association, Dave Johnson says at today’s event, they’ve had two big winners
“Out on the fourth hole, about an hour ago, Mike McLeod hit a beautiful shot straight into the hole there. At first he didn’t believe that it had gone in, he insisted that it was hiding behind the pin, so the whole group walked down and sure enough, it was in the hole there. He’s just won a Mercedes, it’s a beautiful white car, he’s pretty stoked about it.”
Johnson says a half an hour later, a second participant got a hole in one, and while the car is unfortunately already claimed, he’ll still go home with some prizes.
This year’s event is the 15th annual Gur Singh Memorial Golf Tournament, with money raised going to help the Brain Injury Association.
