Minor injuries following a two vehicle collision along Westsyde Road this morning.
RCMP Corporal Jodi Shelkie says around 8:20 this morning, an SUV that was waiting on Westsyde Road to turn left on Walkem Road was hit from behind by a pick up truck.
“There was a female driver, and a 7-year-old child from the SUV that had minor injuries and went to Royal Inland Hospital. And the female driver of the pick up truck was also reported to have minor injuries.”
Recently, the Kamloops School District implemented a number of traffic and safety improvement measures in that area near Walkem Road and Westmount Elementary.
They declined to comment on the situation.
