Another sign the housing industry is a vital cog in the Kamloops economy.
Speaking on the Jim Harrison Show today, the new President of the local chapter of the Canadian Home Builders Association Kelly Reid says a recent study pointed out the benefits of the industry.
“2017 stats were, 107 million dollars in wages, 1790 jobs and 234 million dollars in overall impact, that’s in new residential.”
He adds, a vast majority of the new construction in Kamloops this year is due to home building.
