Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association urging voters to take time to get to know candidates.
Executive Director Carl DeSantis says they’ve penned an open letter to residents, urging them to firstly get out and vote, but to also ask questions about candidate platforms.
DeSantis says, this led them to asking candidates what they plan on doing to boost downtown business with a 3 part questionnaire.
“Our goal, our intention with this whole initiative is to share the responses from all candidates participating in the election with our business community downtown, and with the community of Kamloops as a whole. I think people really need to make informed decisions, and to do that, they need more information from each of the candidates.”
The results will be available shortly after October 11th.
