The RCMP in Kamloops are investigating the murder of a 35 year old local man.
Troy Gold was last seen on October 1st and was reported missing soon after. No arrests have been made, but the RCMP does have suspects.
“Through our investigations, we determined that his disappearance was suspicions,” said Cpl. Jody Shelkie. “Our investigation later revealed that he had been murdered.”
“The Serious Crime unit has investigated locations at both Lac du Bois, and a residence on Woodstock Place.”
Radio NL asked her if the murder was drug related, to which Shelkie said they’ll be releasing no further information at this time.
The RCMP believe that this homicide was targeted, adding there is no risk to the public.
