Incumbent Mayor Ken Christian has been reelected as the Mayor of Kamloops, easily beating out his challenger, Will Turnbull.
With 18 polls reporting, Christian got 17,328 votes, compared to Turnbull’s 2,666.
Joining him on council will be incumbents Arjun Singh, Kathy Sinclair, Dieter Dudy and Denis Walsh, along with newcomers Mike O’Reilly, Dale Bass, Sadie Hunter and Bill Sarai.
In all, 20,643 votes were cast, out of a possible 68,785 – for a voter turnout of 30.01 per cent.
