Police in Kamloops towed a vehicle this morning on Columbia Street, that may have been involved in a hit and run in Kamloops.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie confirmed that police did tow a silver mid-2000’s Dodge Neon.
“At this time, we don’t know if its the suspect vehicle or not,” Shelkie said. “We’ll be doing forensic identification studies on it.”
That forensic DNA analysis could take a couple of months.
“We’re asking anybody with any tips on vehicles matching this description to give us a call,” added Shelkie.
Police described the suspect car as a silver mid-2000 Dodge Neon SX 2.0.
The hit and run happened on Seymour Street, around 1:35 AM, near the BC Lottery Corporation building, on October 20.
