A pre-trial hearing in the murder trial for Stephen Fraser, who was charged in connection to the death of Cody Foster, took place in Kamloops Supreme Court on Monday morning.
A voir dire hearing took place before Justice Len Marchand to determine the admissibility of evidence for when the trial by jury begins, which will be on Wednesday morning.
Details of the voir dire are under publication ban, as requested by the defense and Crown lawyers.
Foster was found dead on Feb. 11, 2017 in an RV park in a Dallas neighborhood. He was 26 years old at the time of his death.
Fraser, now 58, was arrested at the scene of Foster’s death and later charged with second-degree murder.
