Two Abbotsford men are in custody after a traffic stop on the Trans Canada Highway yesterday.
It was around 9:00 PM last night, police say the vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign.
Police ended up seizing controlled drugs, $2,000 in cash, two swords and a conducted energy weapon, similar to a taser.
“Upon approaching the vehicle and speaking with the two occupants, the officer saw some illegal controlled drugs in plain view,” said Cpl. Jodi Shelkie. “The two men in the vehicle were arrested.”
The two men, one 19-years-old, and the other 20-years-old are known to police.
Shelkie says the BC Prosecution Service is looking into possible charges.
