Police say no threat was made to a North Shore business today.

Just after 1:00 PM, the road was reopened after police finished their investigation.

Traffic is flowing on Tranquille Road once again.

Police are investigating reports of a threat to a business on the North Shore in Kamloops.

They say the treat came in around 11:40 AM, in the 300 Block of Tranquille Road, in the area of Wood Street and Tranquille Road.

Traffic is being redirected in the area, as a precaution.

“Officers are on scene to determine if there is an actual threat,” said Cpl. Jodi Shelkie. “No evacuations have happened at this time.”

She’s expecting to release more information later today.
