Both Victoria and 5th have reopened to traffic as police leave the scene and the bomb scare in downtown Kamloops ends.
Kamloops RCMP now confirm a search of the library and surrounding area by officers and an explosive sniffing dog turned up no sign of anything suspicious.
The building on the corner of 5th and Victoria housing the Thompson Nicola Regional District, The Kamloops Art Gallery, and the downtown library was evacuated for about two hours on Friday morning.
At the time police closed both Victoria and 5th to all traffic due to what they called a report of an unconfirmed explosive device.
More information as it becomes available.
