The Kamloops-Thompson School Board will hold an information session tonight for parents needing more information about putting their kid in a school of choice.

Board Chair Kathleen Karpuk says the meeting tonight at the Henry Grube Centre will have information on French Immersion schools, School of the Arts, and the Science and Tech school.

“Registration for schools of choice is going to happen from January 28th to February 1st,” she said. “Registration closes at 12 o’clock noon on February 1st.”

“If there more students that want in that we have spaces then we will have a lottery draw.”

Karpuk says last year they were able to accommodate pretty much every family looking to place their child in a school of choice.
