With the Super Bowl this Sunday, you can be sure there will be a whole lot of bets made.

BCLC is expecting more than the 35,000 bets they saw on playnow.com last year for Super Bowl 52.

As always, there’ll be the usual bets – from the winners to the final score, and the colour of the Gatorade to name a few.

But BCLC’s Evan Kelly says there are some other “weirder” bets surrounding Maroon 5 and the half time show.

“Their one big hit ‘Moves like Jagger’ so there is a bet whether rock legend Mick Jagger will make an appearance during the half time show,” he said. “The other funny ones will Donald Trump tweet about the game.”

“It really runs the gambit – you know will Gladys Knight wear a Rams or a Patriots jersey when she sings performs the national anthem? Will she forget a word?”

In all, he says there are over 300 side bets you can make.

“From you know who’s going to the be the MVP to who’s going to make the first catch,” added Kelly. “Or who’s going to run the most yards.”

“There are so many different side bets you can make on this game, just to really test your football knowledge.”

That said, Kelly wants to remind people to be responsible if they are making bets.

He also wanted people to remember that it’s important they bet for fun, and not for money.
