It’s a guilty plea from a man who’s facing numerous charges including the alleged assault of escorts.

Curtis Wayne Sagmoen, 38, pleaded guilty to assault in an unrelated incident involving a sex worker in Maple Ridge in 2013.

Sagmoen admitted to assaulting a woman he met online after there was a dispute over money. He was given a 30-day jail term and two years probation.

He’s still facing a number of other charges in the North Okanagan including assault causing bodily harm and assault with a weapon, but none of those allegations have been proven in court.
