
UPDATE:
Police in Kamloops have charged two more people in connection to an armed robbery and kidnapping last week.
Corporal Jodi Shelkie says one of those people charged was arrested at a North Shore home earlier today, on Brandon Avenue.
“That arrest was Michael James Mathieson, 36 years old. He has now been charged with robbery, forcible confinement and firearm offenses. Mathieson is from Kamloops and was previously known to police,” Shelkie says.
Also, 31-year-old Robert Rennie, pictured above, has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, who Shelkie says remains at large. He is described by police as Caucasian, six-feet-one-inch tall and 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Three people have now been charged who are linked to the armed robbery and kidnapping on February 14th. Mathieson and Justin Daniels are both in custody facing a number of charges.

One man was taken into custody today by the Kamloops RCMP in relation to the Valentines Day robbery turned kidnapping.
Police say they were helped out by the South East District Emergency Response Team.
Cpl Jodi Shelkie says the arrest was made on the North Shore.
“A residence on Brandon Avenue was surrounded, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident,” she said. “The 36-year-old suspect is from Kamloops and was previously known to police.”‘
One of two robbery suspects was arrested in Kelowna last Thursday, Shelkie did not say whether this man is the second suspect.
Two men and a woman were robbed downtown by a pair of men, and the woman was kidnapped but found safe near Falkland last Friday.
That robbery, police say, is linked to the Kamloops drug trade.
