
A man wanted after a Valentine’s Day robbery turned kidnapping was arrested just outside of Penticton.
Police say 31-year-old Robert Rennie was arrested without incident after a traffic stop yesterday, January 21, west of Kaleden. He’s facing a charge of assault causing bodily harm.
In all, three people were taken into custody after the robbery and kidnapping.
Michael Mathieson was arrested Wednesday morning in Kamloops, while Justin Daniels was taken into custody on February 14 in Kelowna.
Meanwhile, police are still looking for Gordon Braaten and Hugh Mcintosh, wanted in connection to last Friday’s double shooting, that killed Jason Glover and wounded another woman.
Both men are considered armed and dangerous.
So far, there have been no arrests in connection to the shooting deaths of two men at Kamloops motels on January 23.
Police later said one of the victims – Rex Gill – might have been a case of mistaken identity as he has no ties to the Kamloops drug trade.
