There were two minor injuries after the crash this morning on the Trans Canada in Valleyview near Grand Boulevard.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says a semi failed to stop in time at a red light.
“He hit a pickup truck that was in front of him,” she said. “The pick up truck went and hit a van that was stopped in front of him.”
Two people in the pickup truck had those minor injuries.
Argo Roads Thompson says the highway is now reopened.
Also, another crash was reported on the Trans Canada at Peterson Creek bridge around 8:15 AM.
Details are limited, but Cpl. Shelkie says two vehicles were involved with no injuries to report.
A third crash along the Trans-Canada reported by DriveBC, north-west of Salmon Arm, in Balmoral.
The highway is reportedly closed in that area, and DriveBC says drivers can expect delays.
