Police in Kamloops are looking for a suspect after someone was robbed at knifepoint at the TRU campus this week.
Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the victim was walking near Wolfpack Road and College Drive when a male suspect with a knife demanded the victim’s wallet. After it was handed over the suspect fled on foot towards Summit Drive.
The incident happened just after 2:30 on Monday afternoon, and Shelkie says the wallet was found about 30 minutes later on campus, and was missing cash but no other items.
The suspect is described as being in his mid-20’s and six-feet tall, and was wearing a grey hoodie, jeans and carrying a striped leather backpack according to police.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call RCMP or Crimestoppers.
