Police are looking for information about a suspect vehicle in connection to a killing in Valemount this week.

The homicide happened on Sunday, and Mounties received a report of a deceased man just after 11 a.m. in the 1800-block of Main Street. The North District RCMP Major Crime Unit assisted in the response and deemed the man’s death a homicide.

The vehicle in question (pictured) is a white 2013 Chevrolet Traverse.

“We are trying to determine a timeline with respect to the vehicle’s whereabouts leading up to and following the man’s death,” RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Janelle Shoihet says. “We are circulating a stock photo of the vehicle and asking anyone with information about its location, or occupants, to contact RCMP.”

The identity of the homicide victim has not been made public by police.
