The Premier is watching the election in Alberta closely with his fellow NDP Premier Rachel Notley in fight with the United Conservative Party.
Speaking on NL’s Inside #bcpoli John Horgan says he will work with whomever wins noting even though he and Rachel Notley carry the same party flag they have also had headline grabbing disagreements.
“I look forward to that coming to an end so we can find a way forward on the important issues that are affecting both of our provinces. I would love to see more refining capacity coming out of Alberta so that we can bring the cost of gas down. I would love to see more cooperation on a whole host of issues but we have that big challenge in front of us and we will have to find a way forward.”
Asked if any NDP resources in B.C. are headed to Alberta to help their orange cousins Horgan said that is a party decision and he doesn’t know what resources, if any, have been asked for.
He says Alberta Premier Rachel Notley has served her province well calling her an extraordinary woman who is also tough as nails.
