The TNRD has issued a Water Quality Advisory for the Savona Community Water System due to high turbidity in Kamloops Lake.
They say the risk is low, but those with compromised immune systems should use boiled or bottled water.
As the weather gets warmer, TNRD spokesperson Michelle Nordstrom says the increase in turbidity is common this time of year.
The advisory comes a week after a similar advisory was put in place for the Vavenby Community Water System due to spring run-off causing high turbidity in the river.
If you need more information, the TNRD says to call them toll free at 1-877-377-8673.
