There were no injuries after a tanker carrying aluminium sulfate overturned on Mission Flats Road this morning.
The crash was close to the Kamloops Sewage Treatment Centre.
A provincial spokesperson with the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change says there was no release of any substance, but Hazmat crews are on scene to help with the clean up.
David Karn also noted that there was no other vehicle involved in the crash.
A containment zone has been set up, but the crash isn’t affecting access to the Mission Flats landfill located nearby.
Aluminium sulfate is often used in water purification.
