As the search for Ben Tyner resumed yesterday, police are renewing their call for dash cam footage.

Ben Tyner, who was a manager at the Nicola Ranch, was reported missing on January 28 after his horse was found northwest of Merritt.

RCMP Sgt. Janelle Shoihet is hoping that more people come forward with footage from the area.

“And if anybody hasn’t had the opportunity to turn that over to police, we would just like to re-ask at this time that if you were in the Merritt RCMP area on January 26 and have dash cam video to please ensure that you bring that to the Southeast District Major Crime Unit,” she said.

Shoihet says several people have come forward with information to date, but police are still looking for some specific dash cam footage.
