
UPDATE 4:10 p.m:
Two adult men and two adult women were killed in the targeted shootings in Penticton today, but police haven’t released any named.
At an update at 4 p.m., Supterintendent Ted De Jager said they have a 60-year-old man in custody, and charges are pending.
De Jager added he is glad the suspect turned himself in so the community isn’t on pins and needles about a suspect still being out there.

Tragedy in Penticton.
RCMP are now confirming four people were killed at three different locations in downtown Penticton.
The suspect turned himself in at the Penticton detachment.
“Four people are deceased at three locations within a five kilometre radius,” said RCMP Superintendent Ted De Jager. “The BC Coroners Services has been notified.”
De Jager says all four cases involved shootings, which appear to be targeted.
Mounties got a call about a possible shooting at about 10:30 a.m., and the suspect was taken into custody about an hour later.

City remains on lock down due to incident on Skaha Lake Road, they’re not sure if it’s related to the fatal shootings. Another police update at 4 p.m. The public asked to stay away from crime scenes .
