The Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association has a lot of things on their plate as summer approaches.
From a new bigger and better location to a block party the first weekend in June, the KCBIA is going to be busy.
Executive Director Carl DeSantis says the June 1st and 2nd event will see a three on three basketball tournament featuring teams from across the province
“There’s going to be four different divisions. There’s going to be the elite division and that’s university teams and that type of calibre players from across the province and actually we’ve had interest from teams in the States. We’ve got a mixed open and a girls high school and a boys high school division as well.”
Part of Victoria St will be shut down for the tournament.
Desantis says there will be a party to go along with it combining culture, arts and music through the whole weekend.
