The emergency room at the Ashcroft Hospital will once again be closed during overnight hours this weekend because of a staffing shortage.
Interior Health says for Sunday and Monday, the ER will closed from 1 a.m. to 8 a.m.
The health authority says people can instead use the emergency department at hospitals in Kamloops, Merritt or Lillooet. Anyone unsure of their need for emergency care is asked to call 8-1-1.
The ER in Ashcroft has now been closed overnight on at least seven occasions in the past 10 months.
