A pair of vehicle incidents on the Trans-Canada Highway are causing back ups through Kamloops.
The highway is now re-opened in both directions at the Lafarge Road exit, just east of the BC Wildlife Park, following a vehicle fire. Westbound traffic is currently at a single lane, and DriveBC says all lanes are expected to re-open at 3:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, a two-vehicle crash in the westbound lanes of the Trans-Canada is causing a lengthy backup at the Peterson Creek Bridge. That crash happened at about 1:30 p.m.
NL will have more information online and on that air at 610 AM as it becomes available.
