Environment Canada has ended the special weather statement from yesterday that was calling for snow snow on the Coquihalla and parts of the interior.
The forecast was calling for between 2 and 5 cm of snow on most Southern Interior mountain passed, and up to 10 cm on the Okanagan Connector.
However, Drive BC confirmed to Radio NL there was no snow on the Coquihalla or the Okanagan Connector last night.
The special weather statement was also in place for Highway 1 from the Eagle to Rogers Pass, for Highway 5 from Tete Jaune Cache to the Alberta border, and for Highway 3 through the Allison Pass.
Meteorologist Doug Lundquist told Radio NL yesterday that the snow would likely change to rain as temperatures warmed up.
In Kamloops, Environment Canada is calling for showers today, with the risk of a thundershower this afternoon.
