A serious crash on the Coquihalla between Merritt and Hope sent four people to hospital yesterday afternoon.

BC Emergency Services were called to Larson Hill near Coldwater Road just after 4 p.m. on Monday.

Two people were airlifted to hospital while the other two were taken by ground ambulance, but so far there’s no word on their conditions.

The crash is being investigated.

A single lane was closed in both directions as a result of the crash, but the highway was fully reopened around 8:30 p.m.
