RCMP in Logan Lake are warning drivers to make sure the wheels on their vehicles are properly fastened as six people have recently reported loosened lug nuts.

Acting Corporal Ryan Dell says “a couple of them have had quite a bit of damage to the tires and their wheels from the lug nuts being loosened.”

In terms of potential charges that could result from this Dell says “as with most investigations the potential charges depend on the totality of the circumstances. But, it’s definitely a form of mischief and could be something greater than that as well.” He reminds everyone to double check your lug nuts for the time being.

Dell says from what he’s aware of so far, nobody’s wheels have fallen off, but it doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened and people are still coming forward.
