Another Hot Night in the City and Ribfest weekend has come and gone and despite the wet weather on Sunday it was another success.

While speaking on the NL morning news, spokesperson Bryce Herman says having the two events running on the same weekend is a win – win for both organizations. “We send people up to the car show and the car show sends people back to us. And it’s gonna happen that way whether we were working together on it anyway.”

“You go downtown and you say we’re already parked, we’re walking around and we’re looking at the cars, we’re gonna go down to Ribfest and vice versa, you’re at Ribfest and you go, oh there’s a big car show a block and a half away, I’m going.”

Herman says the exact numbers on attendance and how much money they made should are being worked on and should be available soon.
